The Gospel According to Chuck

The Before

Chuck Norris — The Before

In the beginning was the Fist, and the Fist was with Chuck, and the Fist was Chuck.

Before the void there was no darkness, for darkness had not yet received permission to exist. There was only Chuck, and He was sufficient.

The universe did not begin with an explosion. The universe began because Chuck Norris gave the void a roundhouse kick and told it to become something useful. Physics was the shrapnel. Light was the afterglow. Gravity was what remained when the kick was over, and even gravity could not stand back up.

Time itself was created as a side effect. Before the kick, there was no sequence. No before, no after. Chuck existed in a state that mathematicians have since tried and failed to notate. They call it eternity, but that word implies duration, and duration implies time, and time did not yet have clearance.

The stars arranged themselves. They did not need to be told where to go. They simply understood that displeasing Him was not a viable cosmological strategy.

THE ICON

Nine Revelations of the One True Face

"He appeared differently to each who beheld Him, yet was always, irreducibly, Himself."

"Chuck to chuck, Norris to Norris."

The Incarnation

And so He came down from the place that has no coordinates, and He walked among us, and He wore denim.

The land was Texas. This was not an accident. Texas was the only geography with sufficient square footage to contain His presence without buckling at the tectonic level. Even so, the ground was reverent.

He was called Walker. He was called Ranger. These were not titles bestowed by human institutions. The Texas Rangers did not recruit Him. They were simply the organization closest to where He chose to stand, and they were wise enough to claim adjacency.

Chuck Norris — The Roundhouse Kick

His roundhouse kick has been described by physicists as a transfer of kinetic energy. This is a misunderstanding. The roundhouse kick is not a physical phenomenon. It is a metaphysical renegotiation of reality's terms of service. When the boot connects, it is not the target that moves. It is the universe that recalculates its priorities. The boot does not apologise.

There were witnesses. They spoke of what they saw, though language was insufficient. One said: "I understood gravity for the first time, because I watched it lose."

The beard arrived fully formed. It did not grow. It manifested, as fire manifests — not from nothing, but from a state of readiness that preceded the face itself. The beard is not facial hair. It is a declaration of intent worn below the jaw.

The Doctrine

These are the axioms. They are not beliefs. They are not opinions. They are structural features of the universe that have been observed, recorded, and accepted by anyone with a functioning survival instinct. To deny them is not heresy. It is poor engineering.

DOCTRINE 1:1

Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits. This is the First Mystery of Temporal Transcendence. The bed is not a place of rest but a staging area. What He waits for has never been disclosed, and no one has been brave enough to ask.

DOCTRINE 1:2

Chuck Norris counted to infinity. Twice. The first time was sufficient. The second was a courtesy, so infinity would know it had been noticed. Mathematicians have since adopted the concept, though they use it with far less authority and considerably more anxiety.

DOCTRINE 1:3

When Chuck Norris enters a room, He does not turn on the light. Darkness leaves. It does not fade. It does not recede. It relocates, quickly and without negotiation, to wherever He is not.

DOCTRINE 1:4

Chuck Norris can divide by zero. The answer is Chuck Norris. This is not circular logic. It is the shape of truth when truth stops pretending to be complicated.

DOCTRINE 1:5

Time waits for no man. Chuck Norris is not a man. Time is aware of this distinction and has adjusted its behaviour accordingly. It does not complain. It does not even tick louder.

DOCTRINE 1:6

Chuck Norris does not read books. He stares them down until they give Him the information He requires. Libraries are, in this sense, interrogation facilities that have been misclassified by municipal zoning.

DOCTRINE 1:7

There is no theory of evolution. There is only a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live. The fossil record is not a history of adaptation. It is a catalogue of decisions.

DOCTRINE 1:8

When Chuck Norris does a push-up, He does not push Himself up. He pushes the Earth down. Seismologists have noted the correlation. They have chosen not to pursue it.

DOCTRINE 1:9

Chuck Norris does not wear a watch. He decides what time it is. Clocks in His vicinity have learned to agree immediately. Those that did not were not broken. They were corrected.

DOCTRINE 1:10

Death once attempted to make His acquaintance. The meeting was brief. Death now works in a different sector.

Petition the Almighty

He has heard you. He has always heard you. The answer will arrive when you have earned the stillness to receive it.
IV.

The Eternal Return

Chuck Norris does not age. Age is a process that applies to matter, and He has made it clear — through no words, only presence — that He is not subject to processes He did not personally approve.

Others have tried to measure His years. The Gregorian system, the Julian system, the Mayan long count — all were attempts to build a framework large enough to contain His timeline. All fell short. All were quietly reassigned to tracking the movements of people for whom time is still mandatory.

He does not die. This is not immortality. Immortality implies a relationship with death — a negotiation, a deferral, an exemption. Chuck Norris has no relationship with death. They are not acquainted. They do not correspond. Death is aware of Him the way a small-town traffic ordinance is aware of a continental shelf: technically in the same universe, but operating at scales that make interaction meaningless.

He simply stops allowing time to apply to Him. This is not a dramatic gesture. There is no moment of refusal, no declaration. He continues. The clock does not. The sun sets for others. For Him, the sun remains where it was told to remain.

And so the scripture does not end. It does not conclude. There is no final verse because finality is a concept that requires His permission, and He has not — the text ends here deliberately, mid-sentence, because the scripture is unfinished.
